Dash Diet Fish Tacos



1lb. cod fillets
  • 1/2 tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
dash of salt


  • 1 cups red cabbage, shredded
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup non-fat sour cream
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • corn tortillas


Place rinsed fish on baking dish rack, allowing fish to drain while cooking. Combine tomato, onion, cilantro, oil and lime juice and pour mixture over fish. Add small amounts of salt and pepper to fish. Cover with foil and bake in a pre-heated oven for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees fish should flake when ready.

While fish cooks, combine cabbage and onion then add salsa and sour cream. Mix well. Once fish is done cooking, using corn tortillas divide fish appropriattly. Add your sauce mix on top fish. Serve, make sure to refrigerate leftovers right away.
