Spicy Egg Drop Soup


  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1 oz sliced sandwich ham (chopped)
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp celery (chopped)
  • 1 tsp green onion (chopped)
  • Garlic powder, pepper and salt (each to taste)
  • Tabasco sauce (to taste)


In a medium saucepan, combine chicken broth, soy sauce, ham, and veggies. Heat to simmer and let cook for 1 minute. In a separate bowl, beat the egg. While stirring the broth, slowly pour in the egg. When you see ribbons form in the soup, it is done.
